Guide to Measuring Your Body for a Hoodie

Chest/Bust Measurement:

How to Measure: Use a flexible measuring tape. Wrap it around the fullest part of your chest/bust, under your armpits, and over your shoulder blades. Keep the tape snug but not tight, and ensure it remains horizontal around your body. Breathe normally and take the measurement.

Waist Measurement:

How to Measure: Although the 'Waist (Hem)' in the hoodie refers to the garment's width at its bottom, you can measure your natural waist to get an idea of the fit. Measure around your natural waistline, which is typically the narrowest part of your waist. The tape should be snug but not tight.

Length Measurement:

How to Measure: Find the highest point of your shoulder, close to the base of your neck. Measure straight down from this point to where you want the hoodie to end, typically just past your hip bone or around the middle of your hip for a standard fit.

Shoulder Width Measurement:

How to Measure: Measure across your back from the edge of one shoulder to the other. Locate the points where the shoulder slope starts to drop off and measure between these points.

Sleeve Length Measurement:

How to Measure: Bend your elbow slightly (about 45 degrees). Start from the center back of your neck, measure over your shoulder and down your arm to your wrist. Alternatively, you can measure from the top of your shoulder straight down to where you want the sleeve to end, usually just past your wrist bone.

Additional Tips:

  • Posture: Stand upright and relaxed while measuring.
  • Clothing: Wear form-fitting clothing or measure directly against your skin for accuracy.
  • Assistance: It's easier to get accurate measurements if someone else helps you, especially for the sleeve and shoulder measurements.
  • Size Selection: Compare your body measurements to the size chart to find the size that corresponds best. Remember to consider if you prefer a tighter or looser fit.
